Is an international network of citizen groups from the South and the North involved in efforts to defend the world’s forests from destruction. It works to ensure land tenure and the means of survival of the people living in the forests, and supports their efforts to defend the forests from commercial logging, dams, mining, plantations, shrimp farms, colonization, the settlements and other projects that put them in danger.
